We are very excited to introduce you to our new identity.  Over the years Spectrum Printing has been ever changing and growing.  In 2003, we added a whole new aspect to the company with Screen Printing, Embroidery and Promotional Products and became Spectrum Printing, Design & Apparel. We celebrated our 10th year in October of 2004.  It was time for the next change, our visual identity.

The inspiration for our new identity seemed very clear to our Design Team:  The past has shown us success and we need to build and incorporate that success into our future.  With that in mind, our Design Team set out to develop a visual identity that would not only be recognized as our logo but also a reminder of our commitment to quality and excellence in service…our seal of approval.

It was important to us that the original Spectrum Printing identity be maintained as a part of our new one.  In the development, we started with the original Spectrum Swoosh, which you will now see as the negative space within the new identity.  We also wanted to see something new developed within our identity and there it was, the monogram “S”.

With the visual identity taking shape, we need to focus on our verbal identity.  We began to realize that many of our customers as well as our staff had already dropped “Printing” in their identification of our company.  There was little discussion on this, we were SPECTRUM and that would be our verbal identity.  It was felt that we would need to continue to promote our main services within our identity and added a tagline, “Printing | Design | Apparel”.
